Automated alerts can be generated for immunization and abnormal range lab results.

The ability to electronically send prescriptions to targeted pharmacies, via a secure connection decreases errors in prescription writing of commonly used medications and simultaneous refilling of multiple prescriptions and allergy alerts.

Through pick lists and check boxes, physicians can order studies and tests with a few clicks of the mouse. The orders are transmitted directly to the appropriate Department, either directly through the EMR if the colleague is also a system user or via the applications fax capabilities. You can set up alerts in the module that let you know when results have been received and further track labs by patient, order date, or by physician.

Another valuable feature of the Lab Order Entry and Results Reporting tool allows you to review authorization and facility rules by payer to ensure your requests comply with relevant guidelines.

The ability to scan paper lab results, radiology images automatically and attaches them to the patient record SoftCare also facilitates management of medical images with DICOM standards.

SoftCare's Role-based security allows only authorized individuals access to medical records. Access logging and auditing provides a history of who accessed and who modified any record.
